On October 21st, I went to Kamakura in Japan with my friend. At day, there was heavy rain, but we had a nice day.
Frist, we visited " Zeniarai-Benten". This place is a shrine in Kamakura. There is a tradition that if you wash your money in there, money may increase. I tried to wash my money too.
We ate Kamameshi for lunch in "Kama Kama". "Kama Kama" is a famous shop that was broadcast on TV. By the way, Kamameshi is rice, meat, and vegetables boiled together in a small pot but, this time, we ate seafood Kamameshi. There are salmon roe, sea urchins and young sardines in the seafood Kamameshi. It's was very fresh and delicious.
After lunch, we ate shaved ice as dessert in " Oimo Cafe". We ordered shaved ice with purple sweet potato flavor. The round things are Japanese cakes. The purple source is purple sweet potato source. It was sweet and tasty. I think girls like this shop because the inside of the shop has clam and we can take photogenic photos.

After that, we rented kimonos in the shop dealing in fabrics for kimono. I rented a pink kimono and my friend rented an indigo-blue one. We could rent at low rates! I was very excited because I wore kimono and walked in Kamakura for the first time.
And we looked at the Great Buddha at Kamakura after a long time! The Great Buddha is very big, too. The Buddha has live to a great age as a tradition from old times.
There were many tourists.
After that, we went to "Tsurugaoka-hachimanguu". The place is a famous shrine in Kamakura. I wrote on an Ema. The Ema is a votive picture tablet and we write our wishes on the Ema. The Ema was cute design! This is about 1,000 yen for one.
In this way, we had nice memories. Why don't you visit Kamakura?
I want to visit Kamakura again!
